These palatable biscuits are fed on a daily basis throughout the year, providing effective natural control of intestinal hygiene for your cat. They are irresistibly tasty and can be used as a reward, added to meals or used in activity play balls.
As with all natural ingredients, it can take a little while for them to become effective in your cat’s system, but once established Verm-X Crunchies will continue to support your cat and provide active control all year round. Prior to introducing any new product have a Faecal Egg Count (FEC) so you have a record of your starting point. Follow up FEC should be performed 21 days after the last Verm-X is fed when using it monthly. We recommend that all horses have regular faecal egg counts (at least twice a year).
The Verm-X product has garlic in it. I thought this was toxic to Cats and Dogs?The Verm-X range does contain garlic but the quantities are small and therefore generally safe to use. For example, in a small dog e.g 10kg bodyweight, 50g of garlic would need to be fed to cause toxicity. Our dose is 0.036g daily, which equals 0.072% of the toxic dose.
