About this deal

There’s no easy way to tell how much battery life the Viper V3 HyperSpeed has left, unfortunately — there’s a small battery icon in the upper right corner of Synapse 3, but it only gives you a rough visual estimate of the mouse’s remaining battery life (no percentage). The mouse does have a single LED indicator light in front of the scroll wheel that lights up green when it’s connected to the dongle; this may light up when the mouse’s battery life hits a certain threshold butI have yet to get there (and even if it does, it’s still just a rough visual estimate). Bottom Line The lower, flatter Viper shape (left and right) compared to the taller, rounder G Pro X Superlight (center) Michael Gariffo Performance Finally, a power tab allows you to tweak wireless power-saving and make the mouse sleep after being idle for anywhere between one and 15 minutes. There’s also a low-power mode that will enter such mode after the battery percentage hits whatever number you set. Bottom Line EU Declaration of Conformity for Abyssus Lite & Goliathus Mobile Construct Ed. The RVU was often called out for having not only some of the smallest feet of its generation of gaming mice, but some of the most sharply angled. Those 90-degree turns and relatively small surface area could create unwanted resistance on softer mousing surfaces. I added some aftermarket feet to my unit to lessen this exact issue. The mouse starts to float as the green energy causes parts of it to disintegrate, revealing a newer, lighter form underneath.

Specifications

I compared Logitech's G303 shroud edition to a sports car in my review of it. In its case, the analogy pointed to its shape being less-than-ideal for comfort, but excellent for accuracy. The comparison might be even more apt for the V2 Pro. But, instead of sacrificing comfort for accuracy, you're sacrificing a few features from the previous generation for reduced weight. Forget everything you've ever known about Razer gaming mice - there's no RGB here. While Chroma fans may be disappointed, I'm more than happy to sacrifice a few LEDs for the sake of such a battery increase. Everything about the Razer Viper V2 Pro has been streamlined for performance, and nowhere is that more visible than in the feature list.

We cut to the Razer Viper V2 Pro floating dramatically in the center of the futuristic esports arena. We cut to an extreme close up of the SENSORE once again, as the mouse hovers with a red laser pointing towards the mouse mat. A slider appears parallel to the laser and starts adjusting up and down, highlighting how customizable the SENSORE is. The Razer Viper V2 Pro is a strong choice for a gaming mouse, depending on how you intend to use it. I can only recommend this mouse to serious competitive gamers or those that are part of the esports community. Only they would be able to appreciate and notice the performance enhancements the mouse delivers. Even then, I would not recommend it as an all-purpose mouse. This is something you whip out during competition exclusively, as its lithe frame and ergonomics may throw off non-competitive players. A lightning-fast bolt of green electrical energy surges into the Razer Viper V2 Pro, supercharging it. Its impressive performance wipes out the competition, represented by a holographic map littered with red crosses.
