About this deal

The heater’s maximum power output is 2 kW and it is capable of heating up 86 m3 space hourly, and maintaining your desired temperature. The units above this section are the correct type of unit for van installs as the exhaust manifold goes through your van floor underneath your vehicle and is sealed up so no fumes can get in, for more info on this please check out our fitting guide at the bottom of the post. I have had one in my motorhome for quite a few years, the only advice i will give is think about the tank and pumps position - mine is in the 'garage' with the heater further up the motohome in another locker with blowair tubes up coming out at the bottom of the kitchen unit one facing front and the other rear. The other alternative is a small turret which provides more protection and angles off the airflow direction but does potentially get more in the way. This means the physical size of the heater is the same size as a 5KW heater with 75mm ducting so is not great for anybody wanting to fit in under a van in the factory position on T5/T6 transporters or anybody that is tight on space.

For the ultimate solutions the vent can be put into the B Post pillar (where your seat belt mounts).

But also pay attention to the switch actually has two layers of protective film, you just need to slightly tear off the upper layer of film, the film below can not be torn off, otherwise there will be dust into the switch, resulting in switch damage.

Depends on charging set up your van has, strength of your leisure battery and type of camping you are doing. This fear turned out to be unfounded as once the cushions were back on it is actually quieter than the blower in my Truma gas/electric heater. Inside – The internal fitting possibilities are more varied but the most popular is to position it under the right hand seat (driver’s seat on UK vehicles). All AUTOTERM Air series heaters are equipped with brushless induction motors that ensure low noise levels as well as a long lifetime for the device and the capability to operate in extreme environments and temperatures as low as -45°C/-49°F. So the floor cut would be the circular size of the round turret, which would protrude through the floor, rather than several smaller holes.

You need the 15A fuse for the first few seconds as the motor and glow pin kick in together, I have seen 18A very briefly.
